ABOUT QUEERIE APP 

Queer folks understand that navigating the world can be particularly difficult, if not dangerous. This common struggle is something that can be unifying. And is something that gives us fortitude because it has taught us to be courageous and resilient in the face of the adversity many of us have faced as we experience life. We often look for safe spaces where we can feel a sense of belonging with other individuals like us. What we lack in today’s digital space is a place to call our own. A place where we can feel safe to be our true selves. A place where we can find community.

Queerie is a social digital platform designed for queer folks by queer folks to help us find our tribe, anywhere.

THE PROBLEM 

Queer folks need a digital safe space so that they can engage locally with one another, and become active community members.

THE SOLUTION 

Create a mobile first platform designed to make connections between queer folks, and the world around them easy, fun, and engaging.

MY ROLE

UX Designer—design, usability, function, and branding, marketing. Including but not limted to: Concepting, Research, Architecture, User App Flows, Interaction and Visual Design, Design Audit
